Today has been an all day hell watching the progress of the flight with models arriving for our shoot. Remotely following the flight from MIAmi to St Lucia through San Juan Puerto Rico has made the afternoon sheer torture. How does a flight from MIAmi to San Juan have over TWO (2) hours of delay –for snow? Really, snow? In MIAmi? Even coming from Orlando, FL –there was NO SNOW! Unless I missed some magical snow storm in Florida there was no reason why this flight should have been late. But then again we are talking about American Airlines. Seems they can get away with claiming weather delays for whatever reason they feel like. Considering there was no rain and no snow what other possible excuse could they use? Seems it doesn’t matter they just said it was weather related and washed their hands off.
It has really turned into a cruel world to fly lately. When you are not being probed and checked by TSA; you are being over charged and/or screwed by the airlines. I use to think AA was one of the better airlines but I’m starting to think they are just bigger jerks that don’t care about their passengers just their bottom line. It looks like I’ll have to start to look for alternate airlines to fly because AA is just not what it used to be.
